Sydney was a gypsy child who grew up all over our great country. Starting out in small town Ontario she moved West and spent most of her life in beautiful BC. Music and animals have always been a part of Sydney's world. Entertaining since she can remember, her first "audience" was in her bedroom as a kid surrounded by a montage of stuffed animals and her cat, Odie. These days she's moved onto slightly larger audiences, and is always accompanied by her charismatic Newfoundland dog, Murphy. Most recent, Sydney was a featured artist who performed at the Plaza of Nations, as part of the 2010 Vancouver Olympics celebrations. She was blessed to have some of Canadian Country music's best musicians accompany her on stage! A huge thank you to the Jessie Farrell Band : Jesse Tucker (guitar) Jesse Godin (drums) Ryland Haggis (Bass) and Rick Baker (keys) for their incredible talent and support! You guys are the best! And a very special thank you to Sky Wyatt for joining Sydney on stage to sing some fabulous duets! Watch for Sydney this summer as one of the opening acts for Johnny Reid at Duncan's Summer Fest 2010!!! In fall of 2009 Sydney was on CMT's Karaoke Star as a top 10 national finalist. She has entertained at the BC Winter Games, opened for Terri Clark, sang at the Williams Lake Stampede, competed at the Edmonton National Talent finals for the Canadian National Rodeo, entertained at the Cloverdale Rodeo and the Chilliwack Pro Truckers Event, and was blessed with the opportunity to sing at BC Merritt Mountain Music Fest. In 2008 she was also a top 10 finalist for the BC Talent Search.
