Who Can Compete Basically anyone can compete but here are some guidelines and rules.   You must be at least the age of 18.  If you are under the age of 18, you must include a consent video from your parents or guardians at the beginning of your video submission.  (they will need to go in front of the camera and say they want you to join this awsome contest!  Without this, your entry will be invalid willl be automatically removed.  Contestants must be independent artists and unsigned to a major record label.  Contestants can perform in their room, an open mic,  or on their web cam. It doesn't matter!  We want to hear you sing! Submissions Your entry must be performed and uploaded to YouTube and the link submitted with your contest submission on this page before the cutoff date (see below for the dates). Your contest submission video must not be longer than 120 seconds (2 minutes). The Competition and Judging The Contest will be held from September 1st, 2011 and ending October 31, 2011. Entries will be accepted from September 1st, 2011 to October 31, 2011.   Once the cutoff date has been reached we will no take any more entries.  AMAHits.com will choose a top 10 from all the entries.  Finals (top 10) Voting for the top 10 from the general public will start November 2nd, 2011 till November 15th, 2011.  Once voting has been completed, the person with the highest votes will be announced the winner!
